DV8's JADE HELM SERIES

Jade Helm is DV8 Airsoft's premier annual event. This event is a LARP-Milsim (Live Action Role Play - Military Simulation) event featuring a rich storyline, three factions, unique game mechanics and objective based missions.

Due to high demand, Jade Helm is our only event requiring the advance purchase of tickets. Jade Helm has always, and likely will always sell out.

INSPIRATION

THE JADE HELM 15 TRAINING EXERCISES

Between July and September 2015, the United States conducted military training exercises across multiple states involving 1,200 personnel and four of the five branches of the US Military. The exercises were designed to train soldiers in skills needed to operate overseas, including maneuvering through civilian populations. The exercises were conducted throughout Texas, Arizona, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Utah and Florida. Citing the "scope and scale" of the operations, journalists were not permitted to embed with participants.

The exercises fueled conspiracy theories that described Jade Helm 15 as a "secret plot" to impose martial law, confiscate firearms, invade Texas, and institute "total population control."

DV8's JADE HELM SERIES

WHAT IF?

DV8's Jade Helm event series explores a scenario in which the United States government is covertly overthrown and occupied by an international United Nations Peacekeeping force, placing civilians under martial law and crushing armed resistance groups in the United States. The events are not your typical airsoft game, and are not always force on force. Participants follow a unique TACSOP (Ruleset) that governs role play interactions, explains in-game mechanics and answers 99% of questions regarding in-game conduct. Participants are expected to read and understand the TACSOP, follow an event packing list of required and recommended equipment, and immerse themselves in an alternate reality for a brief time. DV8's Jade Helm events are not for everyone, and as of 2025 have followed a 30-hour continuous game format, meaning the game continues overnight uninterrupted for 30 hours. Taking inspiration from Milsim West's Insurgency and Centurion Combat Simulation's Copan event series, DV8's Jade Helm events are a stepping stone for many of those in the Florida airsoft community to experience a challenging and rewarding military simulation experience at Florida's premier airsoft field.
